Government is also providing LED bulbs, fans at affordable rates to poor families.

The housing and planning department has set a target for this scheme and 50 acres will be available for this scheme and in this The cost of the flats is 4.50 lakh rupees, from which the center and the state government will donate 2.50 lakh rupees and the remaining two lakh applicants will have to pay. Sector is looking at several places, including the possibility GDA Madhuban Bapudham  District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) will allot the GDA flats for Rs.2 lakh to applicants under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). DUDA will prepare the list of applicant’s and only eligible applicants under the scheme will get GDA flats. Up to now around 1.05 lakh people have applied for Uttar Pradesh GDA flats and new applications are also invited.

In the state of Chhattisgarh, the government has started  e-Thela sahayata yojana . This scheme is for handheld drivers. Under this scheme, a grant of Rs. 30 thousand will be given for taking the e-thela for the hand driven driver. The grant amount will be given by the Chhattisgarh Unorganized Worker State Social Security Board. The Chhattisgarh Labor Ministry has issued a notification in this regard and drivers, who are registered under the state’s Social Security Board, will be eligible for this scheme. Applicants can register themselves in the office of the Assistant Labor Commissioner of their area.
