Andhra Pradesh launches e-Pragati year to bring all government online services

In a review meeting of the Pro-Active Governance and Timelie Implementation E-Pragati, PM Modi instructed the states' secretaries through teleconferencing that GST has been implemented from July 1 in the country. Now the secretaries of states will have to register all the traders as soon as possible under GST.
During the meeting, PM Modi has also reviewed the disposal of grievances related to Central Public Works Department (CPWD). He told the CPWD that all the vendors should be encouraged to come on the boards of the Governement e-marketplace. In addition to this, they have been selected in the Railways, Road and Petroleum Sectors of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, West Bengal, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand , Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh for a long period of time. Many projects have been stuck for decades. PM Modi asked all the Chief Secretaries to take all possible steps to avoid delays and stop the cost of projects.
