Vice President Vankaya Naidu has launched a National sports talent search portal online registration nationalalsportstalenthunt.com to discover and refine sports talent.The portal has announced the launch of this website at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.The Prime Minister said, “The sports ministry has prepared a sports talent search portal to search and refine sports talent, where any child from the entire country who has achieved some achievement in the field of sports has talent in them. Upload your bio or video to this portal. The Sports Ministry will train the selected players. “
Children above 8 years can register at National Sports Talent Portal.

Inaugurating the Udupi taluk level dasara sports meet organised by district administration, zilla panchayat, department of youth empowerment and sports and Udupi taluk panchayat, Pramod, also district minister said under the scheme 750 talented sports persons under 19-years and 250 talented sports persons age above 19-years will be selected. "The department is presently accepting online applications from sports persons under this scheme.
