Kudroli temple to launch two welfare scheme

Members of the Gokarnanatha temple development committee have decided to come out with the two new social welfare schemes 

Vidya Nidhi and Arogya Nidhi Schemesas per the advice by senior Congress leader B. Janardhan Poojary. the Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple here is set to launch Vidya Nidhi, a scheme to provide financial aid for poor students for higher studies, to get free health treatment in selected private hospitals.The target audience for Vidya Nidhi Scheme are those who are poor, regardless of the community they belong too

Inaugurating the Udupi taluk level dasara sports meet organised by district administration, zilla panchayat, department of youth empowerment and sports and Udupi taluk panchayat, Pramod, also district minister said under the scheme 750 talented sports persons under 19-years and 250 talented sports persons age above 19-years will be selected.
