Prakriti khoj contest compition 2017 apply

The government will launch a national-level Prakriti Khoj  quiz competition 2017,online , . On Teachers' Day, it will be the best way to teach the young minds through a fun-filled activities and to trigger their sensitivity towards environment protection and conservation, an environment ministry statement said.

The quiz will have multiple choice questions on climate change, biodiversity, forest and wildlife, pollution, waste management, rivers and lakes and natural history etc.

"This will help in sensitising students to issues related to the environment and motivate them about conservation-oriented lifestyles,"

With an increased impetus on sports, sportspersons will receive training and encouragement to excel in their respective disciplines under the Sahasra Kreeda Prathiba Yojana (1000 talented  sports  talent scheme ),  Pramod  Madhwaraj, minister for youth employrment and sports and fisheries announced here on Sunday. Inaugurating the Udupi taluk level dasara sports meet organised by district administration, zilla panchayat, department of youth empowerment and sports and Udupi taluk panchayat, Pramod, also district minister said under the scheme 750 talented sports persons under 19-years and 250 talented sports persons age above 19-years will be selected. "The department is presently accepting online applications from sports persons under this scheme.
