Telangana govt provide 3 Lakh rupees for Marry Temple Priest under Telangana Kalyanamasthu Scheme

Widening its welfare agenda, the Telangana government has announced a novel scheme for the SC/ST girls – Kalyana Lakshmi. A one-time financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh  will be provided to the bride’s family at the time of marriage to meet the marriage related expenses. A Telangana resident girl, over 18 years of age, belonging to SC or ST communities with a combined annual income of her parents not exceeding Rs 2 lakh is eligible for the Scheme. More information click

State government has released Rs 10 crore to provide essential training to select talented sportspersons in Karnataka. With an increased impetus on sports, sportspersons will receive training and encouragement to excel in their respective disciplines under the Sahasra Kreeda Prathiba Yojana (1000 talented  sports  talent scheme ),  Pramod  Madhwaraj, minister for youth employrment and sports and fisheries announced here on Sunday. Inaugurating the Udupi taluk level dasara sports meet organised by district administration, zilla panchayat, department of youth empowerment and sports and Udupi taluk panchayat, Pramod, also district minister said under the scheme 750 talented sports persons under 19-years and 250 talented sports persons age above 19-years will be selected.
