First Installment Under PMAY Uttar Pradesh Released

The spokesperson said that the main objective of the Prime Minister Housing Scheme (Rural) starting from November 20, 2016, is to provide housing to poor families living in homeless and in-house houses. Beneficiaries under it have been identified on the basis of social, economic and caste census.

For this, the survey has been conducted on the rural level through the Tablet PC. The funding for the scheme will be done by the Central and State Government in the ratio of 60:40.
