MAHARASTRA GOVT TO LAUNCH MOBILE APP TO APPLY FOR LOAN WAIVER SCHEME

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday announced that the state government will soon launch a mobile app for farmers to Apply online for loan waiver and for this, the government has to facilitate the filling of around 26,000 forms,“We are launching mobile app for this in two to three days so that farmers can fill this form on their mobile phones.” The Chief Minister has announced a loan of Rs 34,022 crore for Maharashtra’s agricultural debt waiver. Addressing the Vidhan Sabha, the Minister said that about 26,000 facilities have been set up to fill the forms in different areas. The application form is very simple. It is a two-page document seeks basic information from the farmers like name, Aadhaar number, PAN number (if available), public provident fund number (if available), mobile number, date of birth and a signature”.
