Mazi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana Maharashtra

The Government of Maharashtra has decided to give a new look to 'Mazi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana'. Many changes have been made in the plan. According to the new reform, families earning annual income up to seven and a half lakh rupees will also get the benefit.

The benefits of the scheme will be available only to those families who are originally from Maharashtra. The plan will benefit only till the birth of another girl. If the third girl is born, the family will not be entitled to this plan.

The Government of Maharashtra had enforced from April 1, 2016 to increase the birth rate of girls in the state, to stop gender tests and to increase their education and health status. According to the plan, after the birth of a girl, after arranging family planning (sterilization) by the mother or father, after the birth of a girl, Rs. 50,000 or Rs. 25000-25000 The bank deposits in the bank.

At the age of 6 years and 12 years of the girl's age, the interest of the deposited amount can be withdrawn in the bank. After completion of 18 years of the girl's age, both principal and interest can be withdrawn. The third girl will not get the benefit of the plan when she is born. The government will stop the benefits received from the first and the second. Orphaned children living in the children's house will also be benefited by this scheme.

On Tuesday, the Fadnavis government cabinet has approved changes in 'My daughter Bhagyashree Yojana'. The revised plan will be implemented from August 1, 2017. Earlier this scheme was applicable only to the BPL family, which enhanced the scope of reform. Now, whose annual income is Rs 7.50 lakh, those people can also take advantage of the scheme. Now, according to the new reform, the girl's age must be 18 years, 10th and unmarried to take advantage of the scheme.

 Within 1 year after the birth of a girl or within 6 months of the birth of another girl it would be mandatory for the mother or father to get sterilization only then the benefit of the scheme would be entitled. Under the scheme joint account of the beneficiary girl and her mother will be opened in the nationalized bank. Both of them will get accident insurance of Rs.1 lakh and overdraft of Rs 5,000.
