Startup Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) in Kerala

Under the Kudum Shree program of State Poverty Alleviation Mission, about 12 Startup projects SVEP in Kerela have been announced by the Government of Kerala. According to the report, the projects will be part of the Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP). Svep projects which have already been implemented in Parakkoda block in the southern district of Patamthitta and in Vadavukuu block of Ernakulam, will be started in all the districts of the state. According to officials, 6.5 crore rupees have been allocated for each block.This program will benefit the entrepreneurship enterprise especially in the rural areas and will offer financial as well as technical assistance for more than 2,000 startups in the state. According to a report of the Indian Express, by around 60% of the total fund Will be provided by the Central Government to support the existing companies with the support of Kudumbashree National Resource Organization Course will also be held.
