National Rural Aajeevika Grameen Misssion Schme launch by DAY-NRLM

Ministry of Rural Development is going to launch a new sub-scheme for employment in rural areas. Ministry has started “Aajeevika Grameen express Yojana” (AGEY) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana — National Rural Aajeevika Mission (DAY-NRLM). Responding to a question in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Rural Development, Ram Kripal Yadav said that the main objective of this scheme is to provide alternate sources of Aajeevika to the members of self-help groups (SHGs) under the DAY-NRLM. This will facilitate the circulation of public transport services in backward rural areas. This will provide safe and affordable community-monitoring rural transport services like e-Rikshaw, 3 and 4 Wheeler motor transport vehicles, to connect remote villages with major services and facilities like market, education and health for overall economic development of the region.

Goverment of Maharashtra launched a MahaDBT Portal
